Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) seeks a Senior Geostructural Design Engineer to lead the delivery of retaining walls, ground improvement, excavation support, slope stability, and deep foundations. This role offers direct client interaction and cross-disciplinary collaboration within a multidisciplinary firm.

Ideal candidate brings 8–12 years of geostructural experience, a PE license, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree with a geotechnical/structural emphasis preferred.
• P.E. license required (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• 8–12 years in geotechnical, structural, or geostructural engineering with increasing responsibility.
• OSHA 10/30-hour construction safety (or ability to obtain); preferred in construction inspection, slope stability, or deep foundation testing.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior staff on technical execution, design software, and field practices.
• Support onboarding, training, and integration of new team members.
• Help build a geographically distributed, high-performing team with clear communication and standards.
• Act as a technical lead on projects, guiding staff and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Coordinate project tasks, milestones, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Assist with estimating level of effort for scopes of work and proposals.
