Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) is seeking a Senior Geostructural Design Engineer to lead design services for retaining walls, ground improvement, excavation support, slope stabilization, and deep foundations. This role offers direct client interaction, project ownership, and cross-disciplinary collaboration within a multidisciplinary firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree with geotechnical/structural emphasis preferred
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• 8–12 years in geotechnical, structural, or geostructural engineering with increasing responsibility
• OSHA 10/30-hour construction safety (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior staff on technical execution, design software, and field practices
• Lead onboarding and integration of new team members
• Coordinate a geographically distributed, high-performing team
• Act as technical lead on projects and coordinate with stakeholders
• Lead QA/QC reviews of design calculations, drawings, and reports
• Develop and enforce design standards and checklists for Geostructural work
• Support project planning, scheduling, and resource management
• Identify risks and ensure compliance with building codes and design standards
