Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) is seeking a Senior Geostructural Design Engineer to lead design for retaining walls, ground improvement, and deep foundations. The role offers client interaction, project ownership, and a path to grow a specialized service line within a multidisciplinary firm.

The ideal candidate has 8–12 years in geostructural work, a PE license, and strong communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills. BLE promotes excellence and safety across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with PE license required or able to obtain within 6 months.
• 8–12 years in geotechnical, structural, or geostructural engineering with increasing responsibility.
• Experience with retaining walls, ground improvement, excavation support, slope stability, and deep foundations.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior staff on technical execution, design software, and field practices.
• Lead internal QA/QC reviews of design calculations, drawings, and reports.
• Coordinate tasks, milestones, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Provide technical lead on projects and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Support business development and proposal activities.
