Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) seeks a Senior Geostructural Design Engineer to lead design of retaining walls, ground improvement, excavation support, and slope stabilization. You will own projects and interact with clients across disciplines in a growing service line.

Candidates should hold a Civil Engineering degree, a PE license, 8–12 years of related experience, and be ready to work on site in the Asheville/Charlotte area while mentoring staff and shaping BLE's geostructural practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; PE preferred or able to obtain within 6 months.
• PE license required (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• 8–12 years in geotechnical, structural, or geostructural engineering with increasing responsibility.
• OSHA 10/30 construction safety (or ability to obtain); preferred training in slope stability or deep foundation testing.

Responsabilités

• Mentor junior staff on technical execution, design software, and field practices.
• Lead onboarding and training for new team members.
• Help build a geographically distributed, high-performing team with consistent standards.
• Act as a technical lead on projects, guiding staff and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with BLE’s geotechnical, CMT, environmental, and civil teams.
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary projects and develop design approaches.
