Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) is seeking a Senior Geostructural Design Engineer to lead design of retaining walls, ground improvement, excavation support, slope stabilization, and deep foundations. The role offers direct client interaction, project ownership, and opportunities to shape BLE's specialized geostructural service line.

Ideal candidate has PE and 8–12 years of relevant experience, strong communication, and ability to mentor staff across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; PE license required (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• 8–12 years in geotechnical, structural, or geostructural engineering with increasing responsibility.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating multi-disciplinary projects; OSHA training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior staff and lead technical execution on geostructural projects.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to define scope and deliverables.
• Lead QA/QC reviews of design calculations and drawings.
• Ensure designs meet codes, standards, and safety requirements.
• Develop project plans, milestones, and resource estimates.
• Support business development and proposals for new clients.
• Collaborate with geotechnical, environmental, and civil teams.
• Provide input on scopes, deliverables, and vendor coordination as needed.
