Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Senior Geostructural Design Engineer to lead delivery of design services for retaining walls, ground improvement, excavation support, slope stabilization, and deep foundations.

The candidate should be proactive with strong technical skills, communication, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. The role offers direct client interaction, project ownership, and the opportunity to shape a specialized service line within BLE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; PE license preferred or obtainable within 6 months.
• 8–12 years in geotechnical/structural/geostructural engineering with increasing responsibility.
• PE license required (or ability to obtain within 6 months) and OSHA training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior staff in technical execution and design software.
• Lead technical design on projects and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Develop and enforce design standards and QA/QC processes for geostructural work.
• Coordinate with BLE’s interdisciplinary teams to integrate subsurface data.
• Support proposals, scopes of work, and business development.
