Job summary

Lineage in New Castle, DE is seeking a General Manager to lead our D2C warehouse operation. This hands-on leader will build high-performing teams, drive continuous improvement, and manage change while fostering engagement and accountability.

You will partner with internal teams and clients to deliver results, provide strategic direction, and ensure safety, compliance, and achievement of KPIs in a small to mid-size facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4 years’ Operations Management experience in Supply Chain or related field.
• Proven strategy/annual plan development and bottom-line cost management.
• Experience with Six Sigma and LEAN continuous improvement.
• Experience training and developing people in operation roles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and WMS systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse customers.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Direct, recruit, train, develop, and provide performance feedback to direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Achieve company performance goals including KPIs such as Labor to Revenue, truck turn times, and customer service standards.
• Review and analyze all warehouse activities and costs to drive process improvement.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager in marketing, sales efforts, planning, prospecting, and negotiating contracts.
• Establish and ensure facilities focus on customer service and client relationships.
• Monitor and control budgets, capex, MHE and space utilization to meet targets.
• Facilitate safety and food quality standards, ensuring proper receipt, storage, handling, and distribution.
