Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to drive strategic direction and lead a mid-sized warehouse team. You will recruit, train, and develop staff while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations across warehousing activities.

You will analyze costs, optimize space, and collaborate with Sales to expand accounts, negotiate terms, and close deals. Expect travel up to 25% and a key role in achieving Lineage safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of Operations Management experience in Supply Chain or related field.
• Experience with strategy/annual planning, budgets and SOPs.
• Six Sigma/LEAN continuous improvement experience.
• Experience managing, training and developing people in operation roles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Able to work in temperature-controlled environments and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and operational support to meet goals.
• Direct, recruit, train, develop, and provide performance feedback to direct reports.
• Achieve company performance goals and KPIs (LTR, truck turn times, customer service).
• Review and analyze warehouse activities and costs to drive process improvement.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager on marketing and sales efforts, including planning new account strategies, prospecting, quotes, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
• Monitor and control budgets, capex, space utilization to meet targets.
• Support safety, food quality standards and employee health across operations.
• Foster and maintain excellent customer service and client relationships.
