Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager II to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouses, drive efficiency, safety, and cost-effective performance. You will lead a team of Operations Managers, implement strategic processes, and manage customer relationships to sustain our industry-leading service levels.

With responsibility for P&L and performance metrics, you will leverage WMS and automation to optimize inventory, reporting, and continuous improvement across our national network.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• Experience in 3PL/Contract Logistics preferred.
• Staff management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping.
• Develop strategies to optimize processes and reduce costs.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Utilize WMS, automation, and technology to track inventory and performance.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance and inform decision-making.
• Lead customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Responsible for site's P&L.
• Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews.
