Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager II to lead warehouse operations across a national scope. You will drive strategic processes, optimize productivity, and guide a team of Operations Managers to excellence in safety, efficiency, and service.

The role emphasizes P&L accountability, vendor management, and customer relationship leadership, with a comprehensive benefits package and a salary range of $105,000 to $135,000 depending on experience and location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• Experience in 3PL/Contract Logistics preferred.
• Staff management required.
• P&L management preferred.
• Project management preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods efficiently and accurately.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, providing coaching and support while developing a strong team culture.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and oversee activities to maintain a safe, clean, efficient environment.
• Utilize WMS, automation and technology to track inventory, monitor performance metrics and identify improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services and supplies under the commercial agreement.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other metrics for decision-making.
• Lead customer relationships with daily contact to ensure satisfaction.
• Oversee the site's P&L and contribute to business reviews with customers.
