Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager II to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, drive efficiency, and lead a large team. The role focuses on optimizing processes, safety, and performance across multiple warehouses within the network.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of supervisory experience, strong 3PL knowledge, and a track record of improving productivity and cost controls. This on-site leadership position offers extensive responsibility and growth within DHL’s North America

Qualifications

5+ years of managerial/supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
2+ years in supply chain, warehousing, or distribution.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping.
Develop strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and boost productivity.
Lead and mentor Operations Managers and staff, building a strong team culture.
Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Utilize WMS and automation to track inventory and performance.
Maintain vendor relationships and manage site within the commercial agreement.
Prepare reports on performance and inventory to drive improvements.
Manage customer relationships and lead monthly/quarterly business reviews.
Own site P&L and influence profitability.
