Job summary

Amazon in Rialto, CA is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager to oversee all budgetary, people development and operations objectives at the site.

You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, coach staff, and build leadership bench strength within the Fulfillment Center to meet performance goals. The role includes driving Lean initiatives, ensuring safety and customer experience across inbound or outbound operations, and collaborating with support functions to secure resources for projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Drives quality initiatives, process changes, and Lean initiatives to help meet the business plan.
• Oversees safety, quality, performance, and customer experience for inbound/outbound operations.
• Sets and clarifies expectations for Operations and Area Managers; measures performance and provides feedback.
• Leverages managers to source ideas and build improvement plans for the area.
• Ensures best practices are shared across departments, shifts, and the network.
• Coordinates with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and other Sr. Operations Managers to secure resources.
