Job summary

The role requires 7+ years of direct management in manufacturing/distribution and a Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 7+ years direct management experience in manufacturing, production or distribution environments.
• Experience with staffing lifecycle: recruiting, hiring, promotions and terminations.
• Experience with performance metrics, Lean techniques and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Drives creation of quality initiatives, process changes and Lean initiatives to meet business plan.
• Responsible for safety, quality and performance and customer experience of either Inbound or Outbound operations.
• Sets expectations for Operations and Area Managers, measures performance and provides feedback.
• Leverages managers to source ideas and develop improvement plans for the area.
• Collaborates with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other Sr. Operations Managers to secure resources.
