Amazon is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager for our Salt Lake City, UT or Colorado Springs, CO facilities. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, drive Lean initiatives, and own safety, quality, and performance metrics to meet business targets.

The role involves building leadership bench strength and coordinating with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety and IT. Responsibilities include setting expectations, mentoring leaders, and rolling improvements into actionable plans while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Direct management experience in a manufacturing, production, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean methodologies.
• Experience with the full staffing lifecycle: interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and terminations.
• Flexibility to work various hours including overnight, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Drives creation of quality initiatives and Lean initiatives to meet business plan.
• Responsible for overall safety, quality and performance and customer experience of inbound/outbound operations.
• Set and clarify requirements for Operations and Area Managers; measure performance and provide feedback.
• Leverage operations staff to source and implement improvement plans.
• Share best practices across departments, shifts and network.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other Sr. Operations Managers to secure resources for projects.
