Job summary

WP Engine, a leading WordPress technology company, seeks a detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to support financial planning and reporting. You will administer Workday Adaptive Insights, collaborate with G&A leaders, and drive budgeting and scenario modeling in a remote-first environment.

The role emphasizes GAAP knowledge, strong Excel skills, and SaaS metrics. You will partner across IT, Finance, HR, Legal, and Facilities to ensure accurate forecasting and transparent financial processes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in FP&A, corporate finance, or related field.
• Strong experience with Workday Adaptive Insights (power user preferred).
• Solid GAAP understanding and FP&A processes.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across functions.
• Self-starter; capable of planning, multi-tasking, and meeting deadlines in a remote-first environment.
• Prior SaaS experience and understanding of core SaaS metrics.”

Responsibilities

• Administer Workday Adaptive Insights: users, models, issues.
• Collaborate with IT/Finance Ops to optimize source-system integrations.
• Ensure data integrity and alignment across NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, and Workday.
• Lead monthly/quarterly close reporting with P&L commentary.
• Maintain and improve recurring reporting packages and templates.
• Support board deliverables and annual budgeting/long-range planning.
• Provide ad hoc analyses and scenario modeling for growth initiatives.
• Act as Finance partner for G&A leaders, with budget vs. actuals and headcount planning.
• Facilitate quarterly planning cycles for G&A and forecast inputs.
• Coordinate benefits and accounting inputs for forecasting models.
