Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in FP&A to serve as the financial partner to Consumer leadership. You will own end-to-end forecasting, budgeting, and monthly deliverables for Consumer OpEx, building driver-based models to quantify risks and opportunities.

You will drive variance analysis, partner with Product, Engineering, and Design, and present insights during business reviews to inform resource allocation and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance with OpEx planning ownership.
• Experience forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis for large budgets.
• Built driver-based models and scenario analyses; proficient in Excel; SQL and planning tools.
• Partnered cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, or Design teams.
• Experience in high-growth tech/fintech/financial services environments.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end forecasting, budgeting, and monthly financial deliverables for Consumer OpEx.
• Build and maintain driver-based financial models to quantify risks and opportunities.
• Lead month-end close and variance analysis, ensuring data integrity.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design to align financial plans with priorities.
• Prepare and present analyses during business reviews with actionable recommendations.
• Perform deep-dive analyses to reveal trends and efficiency opportunities.
