Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for FP&A in the Consumer line. You will own forecasting, budgeting, and OpEx planning, building driver-based models and leading variance analysis.

You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to convert insights into action and support quarterly business reviews with actionable recommendations. The role requires 5+ years in FP&A or related fields, proficiency in Excel/SQL, and experience with planning tools (Anaplan, NetSuite).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance with direct OpEx planning ownership.
• Track record managing large operating budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Experience building driver-based financial models and scenario analyses in Excel.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and planning tools (Anaplan, NetSuite).
• History of cross-functional partnership with Product, Engineering, or Design teams.
• Experience in a high-growth tech/fintech environment; comfortable with multiple workstreams.
• Uses generative AI with human oversight to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end forecasting, budgeting, and monthly OpEx deliverables for Consumer.
• Build and maintain driver-based financial models and scenario analyses.
• Lead month-end close and variance analysis with Accounting for data integrity.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design to translate insights into resource allocation.
• Prepare and present analyses during business reviews with clear strategic recommendations.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to surface trends and efficiency opportunities.
