Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst on the FP&A team to partner with Consumer leadership, owning analysis and planning that guides resource allocation and efficiency.

You will forecast, build driver-based models, drive month-end close, and present analyses in business reviews, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Design, and cross-functional leads to translate insights into action.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance with ownership of OpEx planning.
• Experience managing large expense budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Experience building driver-based models and scenario analyses in Excel, with SQL and planning tools (Anaplan, NetSuite).
• History of partnering with Product, Engineering, or Design teams to align financial plans with priorities.
• Experience in a high-growth tech/fintech or financial services environment.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end forecasting, budgeting, and monthly financial deliverables for Consumer OpEx.
• Build and maintain driver-based financial models quantifying risks and opportunities.
• Drive monthly variance analysis and month-end close with Accounting for data integrity.
• Partner with Consumer Product, Engineering, Design and cross-functional leads for resource allocation.
• Lead preparation and presentation of analyses during business reviews with clear recommendations.
• Execute proactive deep-dive analyses to surface trends and efficiency opportunities.
