Coinbase is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst in FP&A who will partner with Consumer leadership to own planning and analytics across OpEx. You’ll build driver-based models, manage forecasts, and lead variance analyses, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Design to optimize resource allocation.

This role emphasizes rigorous financial discipline, data-driven decision making, and scalable planning in a high-growth fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance with direct ownership of OpEx planning (headcount, marketing spend, product operations, or similar).
• Track record managing large expense budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis informing executive decisions.
• Experience building driver-based financial models and scenario analyses in Excel, with SQL for data analysis and planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, NetSuite).
• History of partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, or Design to align financial plans with business priorities.
• Experience in a high-growth tech, fintech, or financial services environment with multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end forecasting, budgeting, and monthly financial deliverables for Consumer OpEx.
• Build and maintain driver-based financial models that quantify risks, opportunities, and scenarios.
• Drive monthly variance analysis and month-end close for your areas in coordination with Accounting.
• Partner with Consumer Product, Engineering, Design, and cross-functional leads to translate financial insights into resource allocation.
• Lead the preparation and presentation of financial analyses during business reviews, offering clear strategic recommendations.
• Execute proactive deep-dive analyses to surface trends, anomalies, and efficiency opportunities across Consumer spend.
