Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst on the FP&A team to partner with Consumer leadership, owning analysis and planning that guides resource allocation and efficiency across Coinbase's largest business line.

You will build driver-based models, manage OpEx budgets, lead month-end close, and translate financial insights into actionable recommendations, contributing to the company's mission of increasing economic freedom.

Qualifications

• 5+ years FP&A or corporate finance with OpEx planning ownership.
• Experience managing large OpEx budgets and forecasts.
• Experience building driver-based models; proficient in SQL.
• Cross-functional partnering with Product/Engineering/Design.
• Experience in high-growth tech/fintech environments.
• Uses generative AI with human oversight to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end forecasting, budgeting, and monthly OpEx deliverables for Consumer.
• Build driver-based models quantifying risks and scenarios.
• Lead month-end close and variance analysis with Accounting.
• Partner with product/engineering/design for resource allocation.
• Prepare and present analyses during business reviews.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to surface trends and efficiency opportunities.
