Job summary

Provectus is hiring for a senior engineering role focused on embedded delivery within enterprise AI initiatives. You will remain hands-on while owning outcomes, joining client teams and shaping the code and architecture across GenAI/LLM deployments.

You will lead with strong engineering fundamentals, operate in an autonomous, senior capacity, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver measurable business impact on AWS-based systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building software with a substantial share of production code you were accountable for.
• You operate in the operator’s seat and are willing to spend weeks doing someone else’s job before writing code.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship GenAI/LLM systems to production, not demos.
• Own design discussions with BU heads and CTOs; influence scoping.
• Provide hands-on coding and leadership in an embedded, customer-facing role.
• Learn domains quickly to argue with domain experts.
• Evaluate non-deterministic systems with a clear metric-focused eval suite.
• Work with Python and/or TypeScript; depth over stack.
• Deliver cloud-native solutions on AWS with containers, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD.
• Maintain strong fundamentals to navigate unfamiliar codebases.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to drive outcomes.
