Job summary

Provectus IT, Inc. is seeking an accomplished Forward Deployed AI Engineer to build production GenAI systems and own outcomes for enterprise clients. You’ll learn client processes from inside, rewrite workflows from first principles, and ship LLM-powered solutions on AWS.

You’ll lead discovery, write PRDs, and collaborate with senior stakeholders while staying hands-on in code with Python/TypeScript in a cloud-native environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building software with hands-on production code
• Willingness to take operator’s seat and do weeks of domain work
• Ability to learn domains quickly and converse with domain experts
• Experience shipping GenAI/LLM systems to production
• Ability to design and interpret eval suites for non-deterministic systems
• Strong fundamentals in Python/TypeScript; cloud-native on AWS
• Credible with senior stakeholders; manage redesign conversations
• Fluent English, written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Take the operator’s seat at engagement start to learn the job inside out
• Reach fluency in a new domain within weeks (e.g., underwriting, revenue cycle)
• Redesign function from first principles with operators and executives
• Ship production GenAI systems into the customer environment
• Build evaluation harnesses; define working metrics and instrument outcomes
• Write production code across stack using Python/TypeScript
• Take systems to production on AWS and ensure long-term maintainability
• Shape commitments and own delivery outcomes with the team
