Job summary

Provectus is embarking on ambitious AI-driven client engagements as a Forward Deployed AI Engineer, embedding inside client teams to ship production-grade systems. You will learn the domain by doing the actual work, then redesign processes from first principles with leadership, delivering measurable business outcomes.

You will operate across GenAI/LLM deployments, cloud-native AWS stacks, and data pipelines, while maintaining strong hands-on coding via Python and TypeScript.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building software with production code responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Do the operator’s job for 2–4 weeks at the start of an engagement. Learn the function from inside, not from a requirements doc.
• Reach working fluency in a new domain — insurance underwriting, healthcare revenue cycle, asset flow — in weeks, not quarters.
• Sit with the operator and the Forward Deployed Executive and redesign the function from first principles. Discovery, user research, and PRD-writing collapse into one team that re-imagines its own job. You are all three roles.
