Job summary

Provectus IT, Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to join its client-facing delivery team in the United States.

You will live in the operator’s seat, learning the client’s domain from inside and building production GenAI/LLM workflows and services on AWS and cloud-native stacks. You will own the function, ship code, and shape deployments from blueprint to production, collaborating with senior stakeholders and applying a hands-on, end-to-end approach in a remote-friendly, senior-team

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering with production code.
• Ability to learn new domains quickly and argue with domain experts.
• Experience shipping GenAI/LLM systems to production, not demos.
• Strong fundamentals; productive in unfamiliar codebases with Python/TypeScript.
• Cloud-native delivery on AWS; containers and IaC are a must.
• Credible with senior stakeholders and able to drive redesigns.

Responsibilities

• Take the operator’s seat and learn the function from inside the client team.
• Build and ship production GenAI systems into the customer environment.
• Develop an evaluation harness before features are built.
• Write production code across backend services and data pipelines.
• Take systems to production on AWS and ensure maintainability.
• Own the outcome and drive adoption with stakeholders.
