Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Senior Presales Solution Architect to lead the technical presales efforts for our Mobile Financial Services group in the United States. You will design secure, scalable fintech solutions, evolve API ecosystems, and translate architecture into measurable business value for engineering teams and executives.

The role requires 10+ years in technical fintech roles, hands-on platform knowledge, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution architecture, software engineering, or other technical roles in US fintech or financial services technology.
• Proven track record of leading architecture-driven fintech engagements end-to-end.
• Hands-on fintech platforms experience: mobile money, digital wallets, payments, APIs, microservices, cloud.
• Fluent understanding of payments: transaction processing, security, data integration, scalability, resilience.
• Able to switch from deep technical work to framing business value for executives.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical presales process from discovery to live demos and exec presentations.
• Lead as the technical authority in customer engagements and position capabilities as the right fit.
• Architect scalable solutions across mobile money, digital wallets, payment processing and APIs.
• Design architectures addressing security, compliance, scalability, interoperability for US financial services.
• Create compelling solution narratives linking technical capability to business value for engineers and executives.
• Produce high-quality proposals, blueprints, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Ensure smooth handovers to delivery with cross-functional teams.
• Stay ahead of US fintech trends and regulatory shifts to inform strategy.
• Develop reusable technical assets and reference architectures.
• Mentor and uplift presales and partner-led engagements.
