Job summary

Ericsson Mobile Financial Services is seeking a Senior Presales Solution Architect to join our US-based team. You will be the technical cornerstone for strategic sales engagements, translating depth in fintech platforms into solutions that win business.

You will design scalable architectures across mobile money, digital wallets, and payment platforms, balancing technical rigor with real-world deployment constraints. This role requires US-based travel and remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution architecture or deeply technical roles within fintech or financial services tech in the US.
• Proven track record leading architecture-driven engagements in fintech/payments.
• Hands-on understanding of fintech platforms: mobile money, digital wallets, API ecosystems, microservices, cloud-based architectures.
• Fluency in payments fundamentals: security, data integration, scalability, resilience.
• Ability to bridge deep technical work to business value for executives.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical presales process from discovery to architecture, demos, proposals and presentations.
• Act as lead technical authority in engagements, matching Ericsson Mobile Financial Services capabilities to complex fintech environments.
• Design tailored, scalable solutions across mobile money, wallets, payments, and API ecosystems while addressing real deployment constraints.
• Create secure, compliant, scalable integration architectures for US financial services.
• Build compelling solution narratives connecting technical capability to business value for engineering and senior executives.
• Produce high-quality proposals, blueprints, and RFP/RFI responses that differentiate us on technical merit and value.
• Hand over to delivery with coordination across sales, product, and implementation teams.
• Stay ahead of US fintech trends and regulations, feeding insights back into strategy.
• Develop reusable technical assets and reference architectures to raise team capability.
• Mentor colleagues and uplift presales architecture depth.
