Ericsson is seeking a Senior Presales Solution Architect for a remote US-based role. You will lead end-to-end technical presales, design scalable fintech architectures, and articulate business value to executives. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution architecture, software engineering, or other deeply technical roles within fintech or financial services technology organizations in the US.
• Strong hands-on understanding of fintech platforms, including mobile money, digital payments, wallet infrastructure, API design and management, microservices, and cloud-based financial services architectures.
• Fluency in the technical fundamentals that matter in payments — transaction processing, security and encryption, data integration, system scalability, and resilience.
• The rare ability to move between layers — going deep in a technical whiteboard session, then stepping up to frame business value for an executive audience.
• Excellent solution design, technical writing, presentation, and RFP response skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical presales process — from discovery and requirements analysis through solution design, architecture, live demonstrations, proposals, and executive presentations.
• Act as the lead technical authority in customer engagements, positioning Ericsson Mobile Financial Services capabilities as the right architectural and strategic fit for complex fintech environments.
• Architect tailored, scalable solutions spanning mobile money, digital wallets, payment processing, API ecosystems, and financial inclusion use cases.
• Design integration and systems architectures addressing security, compliance, scalability, and interoperability for US financial services.
• Build compelling solution narratives connecting deep technical capability to business value for engineering teams and executives.
• Produce high-quality technical proposals, solution blueprints, and RFP/RFI responses that differentiate us on technical merit and commercial value.
• Drive clean handovers to delivery, collaborating with sales, product, and implementation teams to ensure scalable builds.
• Stay ahead of US fintech trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive landscape; feed insights into solution strategy.
• Build reusable technical assets — reference architectures, demo environments, integration patterns, and best-practice documentation.
