Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Senior Presales Solution Architect to join our US team. You will own the end-to-end technical presales process, translating fintech architecture into winning solutions and partnering with sales, product, and delivery teams.

You will design scalable architectures across mobile money, digital wallets, and API ecosystems, while balancing technical rigor with real-world deployment challenges. This remote US-based role requires strong executive communication and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution architecture or similar technical roles in fintech/payments in the US.
• Led architecture-driven engagements end-to-end in fintech/payments with design ownership.
• Hands-on fintech platforms: mobile money, digital payments, wallet infra, API design, microservices, cloud.
• Strong understanding of payments fundamentals: processing, security, data integration, scalability, resilience.
• Ability to move from technical work to framing business value for executives.
• Excellent proposal and RFP writing, and clear technical storytelling.
• Collaborative, customer-first mindset building trust with tech and biz stakeholders.
• Capable of operating independently in a US-based role within a global org.
• US fintech network is advantageous; willingness to travel.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical presales process from discovery to executive presentation.
• Act as the lead technical authority in customer engagements for fintech environments.
• Architect tailored, scalable fintech solutions covering mobile money, digital wallets, payments, APIs and inclusion.
• Design integration and architectures addressing security, compliance, scalability, interoperability in US finance.
• Build narratives linking deep tech to measurable business value for engineers and executives.
• Produce high-quality proposals, blueprints, and RFP/RFI responses highlighting technical and commercial merit.
• Coordinate handovers to delivery with sales, product, and implementation teams.
• Stay ahead of US fintech trends and regulatory shifts to inform solution strategy.
• Create reusable assets: reference architectures, demos, patterns, docs.
• Mentor colleagues to deepen presales solution-architecture depth.
