Job summary

MVB Bank, Inc. in the United States seeks a Sr. Manager, Fintech Pricing Strategy & Economics to own profitability strategies for the Fintech division.

You will develop models, assess client profitability, and propose pricing structures across deposits, revenue sharing, and terms, aligning with the bank's overall strategy within the Finance Department. This remote role partners with senior leaders, participates in governance committees, and communicates financial requirements to cross-functional

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in banking and Fintech.
• Ability to construct complex Excel models.
• Knowledge of banking economics, including deposit pricing, earnings credit, and NIM drivers.
• Familiarity with Banking as a Service (BaaS) and payments business models.
• Forecasting experience and analysis of unit economics and partner performance.

Responsibilities

• Own Fintech profitability strategy, including methodology, thresholds, and return requirements for evaluations.
• Develop and maintain financial models and projections for profitability; make recommendations to executives.
• Prepare pricing recommendations for new Fintech clients across components like fees, deposits, earnings credit, revenue share, minimum balances, and terms.
• Lead Finance review during initial client evaluation and present to Fintech Oversight Committee.
• Communicate pricing requirements to Fintech team during discussions and contract renegotiations.
• Evaluate ongoing profitability of the client portfolio and identify actions to improve returns.
