Job summary

Ericsson Inc. is seeking a Senior Presales Solution Architect in the United States. You will lead the technical presales process and act as the principal technical authority in fintech engagements, shaping architectures across mobile money, digital wallets, and API ecosystems.

This role requires deep US fintech experience, architectural excellence, and the ability to translate technical detail into strategic business value. The position is US-based and full-time, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution architecture, software engineering, or other deeply technical roles within fintech/financial services in the US.
• Proven track record leading complex architecture-driven fintech engagements.
• Hands-on fintech platform knowledge: mobile money, digital wallets, APIs, microservices, cloud.
• Fluency in payments fundamentals: processing, security, data integration, scalability.
• Ability to translate deep tech into executive-facing business value.
• Strong design, writing, presentation, and RFP response skills.
• Collaborative, customer-first mindset; able to work with tech and business stakeholders.
• Able to work independently in a US-based role while staying connected to global teams.
• Established US fintech network is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical presales process from discovery to executive presentations.
• Act as lead technical authority in customer engagements, aligning Ericsson capabilities with client needs.
• Architect tailored, scalable solutions across mobile money, wallets, payments, APIs and inclusion use cases.
• Design integration architectures addressing security, compliance, and scalability for US finance services.
• Create compelling narratives linking deep tech to business value for engineers and executives.
• Produce high-quality proposals, blueprints, and responses that differentiate us technically and commercially.
• Ensure smooth handovers to delivery with cross-functional collaboration.
• Track US fintech trends and feed insights into solution strategy.
• Build reusable assets like reference architectures and demo environments.
• Mentor team members to grow presales architecture depth.
