Ericsson Mobile Financial Services is seeking a Senior Presales Solution Architect to join our US team. You will be the technical backbone for strategic sales engagements, designing and presenting architectures across mobile money, digital wallets, and payment platforms.

This role requires deep fintech expertise, architectural leadership, and the ability to translate tech into business value for executives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution architecture, software engineering, or other deeply technical roles within fintech or financial services tech in the US.
• Proven track record leading architecture-driven fintech/payments engagements with end-to-end ownership.
• Hands-on fintech platforms knowledge: mobile money, digital payments, wallet infra, API design, microservices, cloud-based architectures.
• Strong grasp of payments fundamentals: processing, security, data integration, scalability, resilience.
• Ability to switch from technical deep-dive to framing business value for executives.
• Excellent design, writing, presentation, and RFP response skills.
• Collaborative, customer-first mindset with credibility with tech and business stakeholders.
• Ability to operate independently in a US-based role while staying connected to global teams.
• Established US fintech network is a plus.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical presales process from discovery to solution design and executive demos.
• Act as lead technical authority in engagements, aligning Ericsson MSS capabilities with client needs.
• Architect tailored solutions across mobile money, digital wallets, payments, APIs, and inclusion use cases.
• Design integration architectures addressing security, compliance, scalability, interoperability in US finance.
• Create solution narratives linking deep tech to measurable business value for engineers and executives.
• Produce technical proposals, blueprints, and RFP/RFI responses differentiating us technically and commercially.
• Coordinate handovers to delivery with sales, product, and implementation teams.
• Stay ahead of US fintech trends, inform solution strategy with market insights.
• Build reusable assets like reference architectures and demo environments.
• Mentor teammates and grow presales architecture depth.
