AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst in Austin to advise engineering teams on cloud costs and optimization. The role requires overlap with APAC business hours, including PST and CST afternoons, with remote/office flex.

You will drive cost analyses, forecast spending with R&D, and document findings in Jira and wiki spaces, while communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FinOps experience.
• Strong cloud cost management and optimization expertise.
• Proven ability to investigate spend anomalies and provide root-cause analyses.
• Experience advising R&D/engineering teams.
• Cloud cost forecasting and alignment with team projections.
• Familiarity with OpenAI/LLM cost drivers and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary FinOps contact for R&D teams via Slack and other channels.
• Engage APAC-based teams to review monthly cloud spend and cost opportunities.
• Monitor cloud/AI spend for anomalies and document root-cause analyses.
• Collaborate on monthly forecasting with R&D teams and document plans.
• Contribute to showback reporting with cost drivers and spend insights.
• Maintain wiki documentation and recurring reporting on costs.
