Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, Inc. seeks an accomplished accounting leader to direct the close process, policies, and internal controls. You will manage global accounts and coordinate audits, while guiding a finance team and partnering with executives on financial strategy.

The role requires ten years of experience, strong GAAP expertise, and a track record of improving financial reporting. Hybrid work and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Competenze

• Ten years of full-time accounting experience, including international operations.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop accounting professionals.
• Experience leading remote teams and coordinating audits.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting.

Mansioni

• Direct the accounting close process monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Oversee A/R, A/P, payroll, tax compliance, and disbursements with oversight from Assistant Controller.
• Coordinate external audits and tax filings with audit firms.
• Maintain accounting policies, controls, and adherence to GAAP across entities.
• Lead financial system enhancements (NetSuite/Concur/ADP) with project plans.
• Mentor staff and provide executive-level financial guidance to leadership.
