Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, Inc. seeks a senior accounting leader to direct the organization’s accounting operations, ensure a complete and timely financial close, and maintain robust internal controls.

You will coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for audits and filings, reporting to the CFO and executive team. You will oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, manage accounts payable and receivable, asset accounting, and currency translation for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; MS/MBA preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive accounting experience in industry or public accounting, including leading remote teams and international operations.
• Strong accounting and analytical skills with deadline focus and high ethics.
• Proven ability to mentor accounting professionals and lead teams.

Responsabilités

• Direct the Accounting Department for monthly, quarterly, and annual closes and prepare reconciled financial statements.
• Develop and enforce financial policies to safeguard assets.
• Oversee AR aging, billings, cash receipts, and merchant accounting.
• Oversee AP, POs, petty cash, payroll processing, and payroll tax compliance.
• Coordinate with NetSuite, Concur, and ADP; manage international accounting activities and currency translation.
