Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Senior Field Technician to lead field crews in testing, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of high, medium, and low voltage equipment across diverse facilities. You will interface with customers and engineering teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution.

The role requires 10+ years in the industry, NETA III certification (NETA IV a plus), and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Associates Degree in Electrical/Electronic technology or military experience.
• 10+ Years Relevant Industry Experience.
• NETA III Certified, NETA IV Certified a plus.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen for a safety sensitive position.
• Able to work overtime and travel out of town for periods of time.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews in testing, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of high, medium, and low voltage electrical equipment.
• Install, test, and maintain electrical apparatus including circuit breakers, transformers, instrument transformers, grounding, battery systems, and switchgear.
• Perform and lead complex troubleshooting of electrical and control systems; determine root cause and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze test results using electrical theory to validate system performance and identify deficiencies.
• Consult schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and engineering resources to optimize equipment functionality.
• Direct repair, replacement, and maintenance activities to ensure reliable restoration of equipment.
