Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking an experienced Field Technician III to lead crews, perform advanced testing and maintenance, and troubleshoot substation equipment in demanding field environments. You will support commissioning and critical field operations, ensuring safety and quality across projects.

The role requires 5+ years in the industry, a NETA III certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic technology, or Military experience preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• NETA III Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and reinforce all safety policies and procedures; ensure proper PPE usage across the team.
• Lead job site safety briefings, identify hazards, and implement mitigation measures.
• Lead field execution of testing, inspection, and maintenance of high, medium, and low voltage equipment.
• Perform advanced testing and diagnostics on circuit breakers, transformers, grounding systems, and switchgear.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and control system issues using schematics and drawings.
• Coordinate daily field activities with engineers and project managers.
