Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Field Technician III to lead crews, perform advanced testing and maintenance on high, medium, and low voltage equipment, and assist with commissioning at customer sites across North America.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, mentoring junior technicians, and coordinating with engineers and project teams to ensure efficient field operations.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug screen required for safety-sensitive role.
• Satisfactory criminal background check.
• Ability to work overtime and travel out of town as needed.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to safety policies; enforce PPE usage and safe practices.
• Lead safety briefings; identify hazards and mitigate risks.
• Promote safety culture; mentor team members.
• Lead field testing, inspection, and maintenance of high/medium/low voltage equipment.
• Perform advanced testing on circuit breakers, transformers, instrument transformers, grounding and switchgear.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues using diagrams and schematics.
• Direct repair, replacement and maintenance to restore equipment functionality.
• Support installation and commissioning activities; lead functional testing.
• Review test results and field documentation; escalate anomalies.
• Coordinate daily field activities with engineers and other crews.
• Mentor and train junior technicians.
