Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Field Technician III to lead field crews, perform advanced testing and maintenance on high, medium, and low voltage equipment, and troubleshoot complex substation systems. This role provides technical leadership and safety oversight across commissioning and critical field operations.

You will mentor junior technicians, coordinate with engineers and project teams, and ensure accurate field documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Pass pre-employment drug screen (safety sensitive position).
• Background check required.
• Ability to overtime and travel out of town for periods.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead job site safety briefings and identify hazards.
• Oversee field execution of testing, inspection and maintenance of LV/MV/HV equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical/control system issues using schematics and diagrams.
• Coordinate daily field activities with engineers and other crews.
• Mentor and train junior technicians on best practices.
