Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Field Technician III to lead field crews and perform advanced testing and maintenance on high/medium/low voltage equipment across client sites. You will ensure safety compliance and support commissioning activities with engineers and project teams.

Responsibilities include diagnostics on breakers, transformers, switchgear, and control systems, along with documenting results and mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic technology or military experience preferred.
• 5+ years relevant industry experience.
• NETA III Certified or equivalent certification preferred.
• Industrial testing and maintenance experience with LV/MV/HV equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews, executing advanced testing and maintenance on substation equipment.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper PPE usage on site.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical/control system issues using schematics.
• Review test reports and maintenance logs for accuracy.
• Coordinate field activities with engineers and project managers.
• Mentor and train junior technicians on best practices.
