Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Senior Field Technician to lead field crews across high-, medium-, and low-voltage testing and maintenance projects. You will apply advanced technical knowledge, supervise site work, and serve as a primary interface with customers and engineering teams.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, project planning, reporting, and mentoring junior technicians, with opportunities for professional certification and travel to diverse field sites.

Qualifications

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen; safety sensitive position.
• Complete a satisfactory criminal background check.
• Able to work overtime and travel out of town for periods of time.
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews in testing, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of high, medium, and low voltage electrical equipment.
• Install, test, and maintain electrical apparatus including circuit breakers, transformers, instrument transformers, grounding systems, battery systems, and switchgear.
• Perform complex troubleshooting of electrical and control systems and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze test results and validate system performance; consult schematics and engineering resources to resolve issues.
• Direct repair, replacement, and maintenance activities to ensure reliable restoration of systems.
