Job summary

Electric Power Systems is seeking a Sr. Field Technician to lead complex testing and maintenance projects across substations and electrical equipment.

You will manage crews, coordinate with engineers, and serve as a primary customer interface while ensuring safety and quality in execution. The role requires extensive field experience, leadership capability, and proficiency with test equipment such as Power Factor testers, Megger devices, and Hi-Pot systems.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews on testing, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
• Coordinate field activities with engineers, project managers, and customers.
• Prepare test plans, reports, and closure packages for projects.
• Manage safety at job sites and enforce PPE usage and safe work practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Field Technicians I–III.
• Represent EPS in the field and maintain client relationships.
