Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Sr. Field Technician to lead field crews, manage complex testing and maintenance projects across substations, and serve as a primary interface with customers and engineering teams.

This role combines advanced technical expertise with leadership and project coordination for safe, high-quality execution. The position requires 10+ years in the industry, NETA certification, and strong knowledge of HV/MV/LV equipment.

Qualifications

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Complete a satisfactory criminal background check.
• Able to work overtime and travel out of town.
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews in testing, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of HV/MV/LV equipment.
• Install, test, and maintain electrical apparatus including breakers, transformers, and switchgear.
• Perform complex troubleshooting and determine root causes with corrective actions.
• Develop testing plans, procedures, and work scopes for commissioning activities.
• Prepare and review detailed reports documenting testing and system performance.
• Lead and mentor Field Technician personnel to ensure safe work practices.
