Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) seeks a Sr. Field Technician to lead crews in testing, maintenance, and commissioning of substations across a broad range of electrical equipment. You will interface with customers and engineering teams to drive safe, efficient project delivery.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in the industry, strong leadership, and extensive knowledge of LV/MV/HV systems, breakers, transformers, and switchgear, with NETA credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Electrical/Electronic technology or military experience preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• NETA III certification; NETA IV certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews in testing, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of high, medium, and low voltage equipment.
• Install, test, and maintain electrical apparatus including circuit breakers, transformers, instrument transformers, grounding, battery systems, and switchgear.
• Perform troubleshooting and determine root cause for electrical and control systems.
• Analyze test results and validate system performance against electrical theory.
• Consult schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and engineering resources to optimize equipment functionality.
• Direct repair, replacement, and maintenance activities to ensure reliable restoration of equipment.
