Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Sr. Field Technician to lead field crews in testing, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of high, medium, and low voltage electrical equipment at substations across North America.

You will coordinate safety, project planning, and customer interface, ensuring quality work and adherence to company standards while supporting professional development of field staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic technology; Military experience preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• NETA III Certification; NETA IV a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and site leadership, enforcing PPE and safe work practices.
• Direct testing, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of HV/MV/LV equipment.
• Analyze test results and validate system performance.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting testing, maintenance, and repairs.
• Coordinate field activities with engineers, project managers and customers.
• Mentor Field Technician I–III personnel and provide technical guidance.
