Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Sr. Field Technician to lead crews in testing and maintenance of HV/MV/LV equipment across diverse facilities. You will coordinate projects, ensure high-quality work, and interface with customers and engineering teams.

The role emphasizes safety, team leadership, and technical excellence, with opportunities to advance through certifications and professional development.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electronic technology or military experience.
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience preferred.
• NETA III certification, NETA IV a plus.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel/out-of-town as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews in testing, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of high, medium, and low voltage equipment.
• Install, test, and maintain electrical apparatus including breakers, transformers, switchgear, and grounding systems.
• Perform complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of electrical/control systems.
• Develop testing plans, procedures, and documentation for projects.
• Lead safety leadership activities, site briefings, and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate field activities with engineers, project managers, and customers.
