Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Field Technician III to lead crews in testing and maintenance of high, medium, and low voltage equipment, and to support commissioning and field operations.

You'll mentor junior technicians, ensure safety compliance, review test reports, and coordinate daily field activities with engineers and project managers, contributing to project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic technology or military experience preferred.
• NETA III certification is preferred.
• Experience with field testing, maintenance, and commissioning of high/medium/low voltage equipment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety policies and ensure proper PPE usage.
• Lead field safety briefings and identify hazards with mitigation.
• Lead testing, inspection, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical/control issues using schematics and diagrams.
• Coordinate daily field activities with engineers and other crews.
• Review and ensure accuracy of test reports and logs.
• Mentor junior technicians and reinforce best practices.
