Job summary

Gilbane Building seeks a Lead Superintendent to independently manage all field operations on a $5–$50M project. This role is on the job site every day, serving as a key member of the project team and driving safety, schedule, and quality.

You will partner with the team to meet project goals and deliver value to the client. Ideal candidate has 7–12 years leading large commercial/industrial projects, OSHA 30, and STS-C, with proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage the field scope

Qualifications

• 7-12 years of experience leading a component of work or whole project on a $30 million+ construction project.
• OSHA 30-hour certified
• STS-C Certification
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed Training
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Directs the day-to-day coordination of trade contractors to ensure high-quality work and schedule compliance.
• Develops, documents, and communicates the field work plan for changes.
• Maintains an understanding of contract documents to anticipate problems.
• Establishes credibility with owners, trade contractors, and partners; enforces safety.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
