Job summary

Gilbane Building Company is seeking a Lead Superintendent to independently manage all field operations on a $5–$50M project. The position is on the job site daily and plays a key role on the project team.

You will lead trade contractors, enforce safety programs, and maintain the project schedule while collaborating with owners, subs, and internal teams. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management and 7–12 years of leadership on large commercial/industrial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• 7–12 years leading a component of work or whole project for $30M+ value
• OSHA 30‑hour certified
• STS‑C Certification
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed training
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Directs day‑to‑day coordination of trade contractors to meet project schedule
• Develops and communicates field work plans and changes
• Maintains project schedule and implements contingency plans
• Enforces safety programs across trades on site
• Maintains daily reports and project documentation
