Job summary

Gilbane Building seeks a Lead Superintendent to independently manage all field operations on a $5-$50M project in Ohio. This on-site role is pivotal on the project team, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality on a daily basis.

You will direct trade contractors, coordinate plans, track progress, and uphold Gilbane’s standards of integrity and teamwork. 7–12 years of leadership on large commercial/industrial builds and OSHA 30 are required.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience leading a component of work or whole project for a value of $30M+ on commercial/industrial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade contractors to meet the approved project schedule.
• Develops, documents, and communicates the field work plan and changes.
• Maintains understanding of contract documents and anticipates potential problems.
• Obtains necessary permits for construction.
• Leads safety enforcement and daily field meetings.
• Maintains daily reports and project documentation.
• Creates and updates the project schedule and contingency plans.
• Communicates schedule status and changes to project team and trades.
• Plans and manages jobsite logistics.
• Collaborates with business development for client relationships.
