Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician III to diagnose mechanical, software, network, and system failures and to service and repair equipment to Canon standards.

This customer-facing role requires 2–4 years of field experience, an electronics or related degree, and the ability to travel and lift 50 pounds. The role operates in a 24/7 environment with on-call rotations, transport allowances, and a strong emphasis on accurate reporting and documentation of service activities

Qualifikationen

• General and/or vocational training plus 2 to 4 years of related experience.
• Associate’s degree in electronics or electrical engineering capacity from an accredited college or technical school or equivalent experience.
• Direct experience working as a field technician.
• The ability to travel (valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record).
• Capable of working in a 24/7 environment and on-call rotations.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with necessary documentation.
• Provide efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on-site maintenance.
• Maintain Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
